Whew…I’m ready for some sun and warmer weather! Right now it’s -24 with the windchill, winds are 50-60 mph and it’s darn COLD! We had a teaser day where it actually got to 35 and now it plummeted again. Soooo what is a girl to do to stay warm. SCRAP that is!

So I pulled out more of my new love..Websters Pages , this time papers from the Vintage Home Collection and scrapped a much warmer theme! My wedding day! The papers fit the classic black and white photo just beautifully. I was just happy to have one more page from the wedding scrapped. I don’t know why but I really struggle knowing how I want to scrap the wedding pics…maybe because it’s such a big project or just that it’s so very important to me. Well here it is:

Trying new things!

January 27th, 2008

Well since this a new year…I finally took a plunge at scrapping a pic of myself! Okay so you can’t really see me since I’m behind the camera. I’m submitting for a DT Call and one of the layouts require it features me. I’m actually glad because I love the results. I went crazy with glitter glue and gems, flowers and more flowers. Something I rarely use with my son.

So without further delay….

Besides finishing this layout, last week seemed to just drag out at work. Thursday I had a large financial presentation to show the director regarding one of my projects. Found out the next step is scheduling a trip to Monterrey, MX for a couple days to visit the suppliers. I’m excited but at the same time I’m going to miss my little one dearly, okay and my DH as well! Right now it’s looking like that will be the week of Feb 18th.

This week will hopefully go by faster than last! I also should find out about the winners of the DT call! Wish me luck!

Websters WOW!

January 22nd, 2008

I have found a new love! Websters Pages have the most gorgeous papers designed by Terri Conrad! The patterns and colors compliment each other so well. A local scrapbook store I design for picked up some of the lines.  I really enjoyed creating with these products. Featured below are papers from the Classical Garden Collection. I created a trio of items; a hello card, a gift box, and a name/place card. I can’t wait to get my hands on more of Websters Pages Papers!

A new Year….a NEW GOAL

January 21st, 2008

So it’s been quite awhile since I updated my blog. Okay yes a LONG time! I’ll equate it to a new job, Christmas and the illness season that was upon us. However a new year a new goal. I’m going to try and update my blog more than once a week. Well at least try! Of course I’m still scrapping like mad, my main obsession! My little one is growing faster than I want him to, and learning new things every day. So it’s my passion to take pictures and capture the moments. Here is one of my fave layouts I have created within the time I have not posted.  : )
