I hope everyone had a good Memorial Day weekend! Our family did. I had an even nicer suprise this morning! I had entered the Tinkering Ink Vintage Contest, I had created a birthday card for a friend and thought well I can give it a shot! I had used an old button out of my stash. Most of my older buttons all came from my grandmother. I created the card using the Provincial Line that was provided to me from TSS for a DT project. I had some scraps leftover. I entered my card right before we headed “up North for” the long weekend. This morning just for giggles I checked Tinkering Ink’s blog and almost fell over. Their was my card displayed. Holy smokes!!! I won, I was like GET OUT….no way…. but sure enough clear as day my card! What a nice way to start a short week! Just needed to let out a small TOOT!

Oh my goodness it seems like I have been the energizer bunny lately. 3 weeks ago we had a mini vacation up north, last weekend I scrambled to clean and make sure Brayden’s 2 year birthday party was perfect and this weekend we are going back up north. However I have not even packed yet. HA! We may not leave till early Sat morning just so I can get my bearings. I’m looking forward to it though. My aunt and uncle are driving their camper and pontoon boat up as well and the weather looks like it’s going to be gorgeous! In honor of my little birthday boy I’m highlighting a lo with him! I really need to get scrapping those birthday shots…

My weeks have just been flying by, but I think we at least have warmer weather on the way!
Work has been picking up again, it seems I go through really busy periods and then slow, busy then slow.
We ventured up north to my parents cabin for the first time last weekend! The fishing excursion was a success. Brayden had a great time running all over the place. Weather could have been a tad warmer. We may try to head back that way next weekend…lets see what our GAS prices do in that time period.
So I just finished a project using Fancy Pants paper. JUST ONE SHEET OF PAPER I was working on a project for The Scrapbooking Site/A Walk Down Memory Lane with the Floral Chic line from FP. I just think this mini birdhouse turned out quite cute. I found it at the local $ store. As soon as I saw it I knew exactly what I was going to do with it!
Just had to share some spring cheer!
