Here it’s Fall and I thought things were sure to slow down. Not so… Last weekend my DH informed me that he was given some Brewer vs Cubs Tickets so Friday after work we whisked off to Milwaukee where we watched the Brewers defeat the Cubs! Whooo HOOO! We had GREAT seats 20 rows up and right behind home base. Sunday we followed my parents to Madison to visit my little brother…okay he is not so little anymore. This is the first time I had visited him since he left home….a few years ago. Yikes….he usually comes home to visit. We went to a Free Zoo near his home and it was fabulous! The zoo had so many animals and things for the little one to do. Of course ending the day we swung by ARCHIVERS! Now that made my DAY, not only that but the check out lady gave me so many coupons on my one little transaction that the $10 I had turned out to be $2.37 ROCK ON! I may have to visit Madison more often!
I’m posting another layout I created using a sketch posted on ScrapDango. The sketch somewhat intimidated me at first but I absolutely LOVE how it turned out!

I was asked to stay on for another DT term at A Walk Down Memory Lanes/The Scrapbooking Site! That news has seriously made my month! AWDML is the one of the most welcoming sites with fabulous message board members and I’m so very honored to be choosen to continue inspiring them with my work! I can’t wait to get to know the new team a bit better and look forward to my new term!
I have also found a bit of time to scrap! I pulled out some photo’s of my son and I from our summer vacation. I just loved these photo’s I took myself of the two of us. I was inspired by a sketch from ScrapDango’s owner Carrie! You can check the sketch out here.
Here is my spin on the challenge:

I guess it’s actually been about 2 weeks of just chaotic mess! Tuesday after Labor Day I received a call that my grandmother that has been suffering with cancer lost her battle. Very sad, I knew it was coming but I guess I just did not think that soon. I was able to have two very lovely lunches with her over the summer that I am grateful for. Her funeral was last Saturday, however my son came down with pneumonia the day before. Talk about stressing and SCARY! He was taking 180 reps a minute which was painful to just watch. So we visited the clinic ever day that weekend. Fri, Sat and Sun. He received two antibiotic injections along with nebulizer treatments then oral antibiotics but I think we have the pneumonia licked. We go in again Tuesday to get checked. I also threw out my neck once again. So on Tues the 8th when I turned 31, yes 31 I had a new outlook on birthdays! Enjoy every day every moment for they are gifts! Today I’m treating myself to a spa day! Well kinda I had a nice gc left from my b-day last year. So massage, pedicure and manicure are coming my way! Enjoy the day!
Going with that theme….I posted a ad inspiration challenge on AWDML DT Blog last Friday. This weeks post I uploaded my creation using the ad. Here is the card I created using Sept’s Kit Basic Primaries from AWDML.
