Close Up’s

November 13th, 2009

Of course every scrapper is always working on taking the next best photo.  I have been trying to catch candid close up shots!  This is one of my favorite photos I took of my little one.  The pic captured his excitement as we waited for the steam train to pull up and board it’s passangers!  I used Crop Addict’s Nov Kit to create the layout.  I loved how the subtle colors blended so well wthin the Dream Street papers.

My little Fisherman!

November 11th, 2009

So now that summer has winded down and fall is here I have time to print summer photos!  I had a great shot of my little one getting ready to fish while we were “up North”.   I knew I had the perfect papers and embellishments in my stash of Moxxie goodness. A Fish Tale has a nice combination of patterns and colors with a mixture of stickers and rub on’s for telling the perfect Fish story!  Now of course I love a good sketch somy layout was inspired by this weeks sketch by Sketchy Thursday’s .  I’m loving the sketch site, not only do they post fabulous sketches but they have awesome prizes from their sponsors to motivate you even more!  Be sure to check them out!

Thinking ahead…

November 8th, 2009

It’s November and you know what that means….only a few precious weeks left before we have to have our presents wrapped and under the tree.  This year I’m trying to make more gifts and I saw a project similar to what I posted and thought it would be perfect for gift giving.  I created a cute little bag that contains 3 coordinating cards with envelops.  (a card gift set)  I created this project using Moxxie’s Queen of the Crop Collection.  I also dug through my stamp collection and utilized some of the fun stamps I have.  I’m hoping to have several other gift-able items posted yet this month!

Got Moxxie?

November 1st, 2009

I had the chance to represent Moxxie earlier in Oct at a local SB store “That Scrapbooking Place” during the Moxxie held event!  I created a cute little Halloween mini album customers were able to obtain a kit with a purchase.  I had fun showing all the customers how to incorporate Moxxie products into their crafting!

Moxxie has been busy, they are releasing a few collections mid show.  The collections will be shipping to stores soon!  You can check out more at Moxxie’s blog.

I can’t wait to get my hands on some of these lines and CREATE!  I have just the perfect pictures for the baking papers – talk about eye candy!  And how can you pass up the cute animals included with Baby Mine Collection.
