Whew…what a weekend! 1/2 day on Friday at work, packed the car up and on our way to the North Woods we went! Talk about GORGEOUS weather we had. For WI you never know what your going to get but this weekend we had sun and 80’s. Perfect weather to put your feet in the water and sip on a cool beverage. Now of course I don’t go anywhere without something scrappy along. I really wanted to work on a DT submission to a company I just adore … Nikki Sivils. So even though I was in the woods, I pulled out my scrappy supplies and went to work. I rarely ever scrap about myself, but one of the required lo’s was to be about myself. I really enjoyed working on it and plan on doing more like this in the future. Crossing fingers for the call….

I had so much fun creating with We R Memory Makers -72 and Sunny I just had to play with the paper some more. I fell in love with the cute frogs, birds, squirrels and turtles! Here is a pic taken when Bray was just a little tyke at daycare. They took a trip to a local APple Orchard. By converting the pic to black and white I was able to incorporate it into the color scheme.

So even though I live in WI and yes it takes till mid July some years to even really break a sweat with the heat…I’m in the mood for Summer! I had picked up WeRMemory Keepers “72 and Sunny” collection from my LSS and I fell in love with the bright summer colors, patterns and cute embellishments. I knew I had pics of Bray playing in his water pirate ship from last summer that I wanted to scrap. Then I saw a sketch posted on “The Story Matters” Blog and went to work! I even broke out some bling!
Also wanted to note the trip to Archivers yesterday was a success, I found lots of great new papers and embellies! I had to hold back on a few. I also purchased a new decorative edged punch that I already took out of the package and used. I’ll be sure to showcase that in an upcoming post! Happy Scrappin!

It’s been a busy month! My son had his 4th birthday, the following weekend we had a mini vacation in the north woods, and this week I have time to just relax! Well kinda… Amongst cleaning, errands, organizing the baby’s room, I still find time to SCRAP! Although I think I need to give some serious time to organizing my scrap storage area…YIKES! It has completely blown up! I need to tame that down a bit. However…not today! Today I’m on a road trip with one of my good scrappy friends. Where are we going you ask? Well….
that should say it all! I can not wait to walk in the store and smell the new paper. Odd yes but I love that smell! I’m hoping to get some new collections that were just released and possibly score on something in the bargain area! The road trip should only be about an hour or so each way but we make fun stops along the route! I think possibly an ice cream stop too…. the cravings have really kicked in this month. I’m in the last leg of the pregnancy. Speaking of…I think I may have to find some pink paper! Have a Scrappy Saturday!

With all the beautiful weather we have been having I have been inspired to dig through my photo’s and start scrapping our Disney Trip from last August! I have only scrapped a few pics so far, not sure if the amount of photo’s I took overwhelmed me or just finding the time to organize them. : ) After a whilrwind getting to our resort the first night and the mess of a room we walked into at midnight….we slept in the first day and finally made it to the park around 2 in the afternoon. However the park photographers zoomed right in on Bray’s smiling face! The captured some great pics! Of course Moxxie had just the papers that I knew were perfect for this photo – their “Chillin Out” collection with all the stars and fun color combos were perfect to create with. You can check more of the line out here.
