One of my good friends always teases me that I have a gift of re purposing items. Whenever we are together I’ll find something that I could alter as a gift giving opportunity. I even do it at work. So we had lunch brought in the other day and they sent the food in these sturdy black boxes. I’m thinking they would be perfect for gift boxes. Then further what about a BOO box for a neighbor or family member. I was able to nab (3) of them before my coworkers crushed them up for the garbage. Here is what I did with one of them. I filled it with kleenex, notepaper, pumpkin themed napkins, a candle and candy. Here is what my finished box looked like. It’s going to make the perfect Boo box for our adopted grandma that lives next door to us!

The air had a certain crispness about it this morning…the heat kicked in and I could see frost on the grass.
Time to get movin on more Holiday Cards. On the Doodlebug Blog I saw a challenge posted for Happy Mail on Big Picture Classes. The challenge was to make a card with (2) different sized circles. So I got out the trusty Cricut and cut out two different sized circles and crated a cute Holiday Card use for present topper!

I recently stumbled upon a fun challenge blog/store that happens to be located not far from where I live. They are hosting a give away with Pink Paislee’s City Sidewalk collection. You can see the collection here.
I love this collection all the tags and vintage patterns for the holidays! I would love to create a framed art for the hallway or to give away as a gift.
You can read about the give away on Scrap it Girl here.

It’s almost that time of year again when the kids are excited about their costumes and can’t wait to run up to each houses doorebell and sing “Trick or Treat”! I think this year will be much more fun now that Makenah is a bit older. Our family tradition we just started when Makenah was born is dressing up and heading out to a local State Park. All the campers decorate their sites to be “haunted”. It is an amazing evening of spooktacular fun! I had a family pic from last year I have been wanting to scrap. I found this sketch at Page Maps that I followed as a base.
I also combined this challenge with For the Luv of Art Halloweeen Challenge.

Mother of Boys Scrapbook Kit posted a sketch challenge for the month. Here is the sketch:
This motivated me to scrap some recent photo’s of Brayden. It’s hard to believe how much he has grown! We had a playday late in summer where I took these photo’s.
